Leadership. Development. Championship Mindset.

I have spent more than 25 years as an elementary school teacher and over six years coaching youth softball. My passion for coaching began when my daughter, Skylar, first stepped onto the softball field at four years old. Since then, my focus has always been on developing confident, fundamentally sound athletes and helping every player reach their potential, not just chasing wins.

I specialize in hitting instruction, defensive fundamentals, game awareness, and helping players develop a strong softball IQ. My background in education has taught me that every child learns differently, so I work to create a positive environment where each athlete feels supported, challenged, and capable of succeeding. Building confidence is just as important to me as building skills.

In addition to coaching, I proudly serve as the Executive Board Treasurer for Miss Sarasota Softball, where I enjoy helping strengthen our local softball community and create opportunities for young athletes to grow. My coaching philosophy is simple: teach the game the right way, compete with heart, and help players develop a lifelong love for softball while becoming the best teammates and people they can be.

Player Development. Hitting & Fundamentals.

I was born and raised in Sarasota, and I've been coaching youth softball for the past four years. As the owner of my own tile business, I've learned the importance of hard work, dedication, and leading by example, and I strive to bring those values to Quicksilver Sarasota every day.

I believe in accountability, maintaining a positive mindset, and giving my best effort at every practice and every game. My goal is to help players understand that success comes from consistent effort, discipline, and supporting one another through every challenge.

Being a coach allows me to make a positive impact on young athletes both on and off the field. I want every player to grow not only as a softball player, but also as a confident, resilient young person. I'm proud to be part of the Quicksilver family and look forward to helping our athletes reach their full potential while building a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.

When I'm not at the ballpark, I own and operate a diesel mechanic shop, where hard work, dedication, and perseverance are part of my everyday life. In my free time, you'll usually find me hunting or firing up the grill for family and friends. Those same values — work ethic, grit, patience, and commitment — are the ones I bring to the field, encouraging players to give their best effort, embrace challenges, and always support one another at every practice and every game.

I am proud to be part of the Quicksilver family and committed to helping each player build confidence, develop their skills, and most importantly, have fun while creating a lifelong love for the game.

Mentors & Instructors

Beyond our staff, several of our players train with trusted outside coaches who help sharpen their skills. We are grateful for their investment in our girls.
