THE QUICKSILVER STORY
Quicksilver Sarasota was founded by Jerry Mills and Butch Pribble with a vision of creating a travel softball program that emphasized player development, teamwork, and a passion for the game.
Established through Miss Sarasota Softball, Quicksilver was built on the belief that successful teams are created by developing strong fundamentals, fostering lasting friendships, and providing young athletes with opportunities to compete at a high level. From the very beginning, the program became known for its family atmosphere — where players, coaches, and parents worked together toward a common goal.
For more than 25 years, Quicksilver has helped generations of athletes grow both on and off the field. While the game has evolved, the values that shaped the organization remain the same: commitment, character, sportsmanship, and a dedication to helping every player reach their potential.
Quicksilver proudly continues that tradition as a Miss Sarasota Softball sanctioned organization, now fielding 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U teams. Every practice, every game, and every season is built on the foundation established in 1999 — carrying forward a legacy of excellence while preparing the next generation of players to compete with confidence, integrity, and pride.
THE LOGO EVOLUTION
For more than two decades the classic Quicksilver script carried our name across the Suncoast. In 2026 we introduced a bold new mark — same colors, same values, sharper edge.
The original hand-drawn script with the sweeping Sarasota banner — worn by generations of Quicksilver athletes and stitched into the history of Miss Sarasota Softball.
A modern chrome crest with navy, ice blue, and hot pink — built for speed and designed to carry the Quicksilver name into the next 25 years.
